WHO ARE WE

Commonwealth Search and Rescue (CSAR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, volunteer agency in the south west area of Virginia.

We are dispatched through the Virginia Department of Emergency Management to send ground searchers and incident command staff to incidents throughout the state.

​

We attend monthly meetings to train and conduct the business of the organization on the 3rd Wednesday of each month except for December when there is no meeting.
